Digital Studio

Digitize Photos & Slides

Learn to scan your family photos and slides. Attend a one on one session first before using the Studio on your own. One on one sessions are for an hour - 30 minutes of instruction followed by a 30 minute individual session for digitization. Once you attend this introduction to photo digitization orientation, you will be able to use our digital photo conversion equipment in our Digital Studio during scheduled sessions.

  • You may bring a few of your own slides, negatives, and/or print photos to scan.
  • If bringing slides or negatives, you must also bring your own SD card. We also recommend you bring a flash drive (at least 8 GB) or have the ability to save your images to the Cloud (Ex. Google Photos).

One on one orientations are available on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Click here to pick the date of your choice. If you are unable to attend at the designated time, fill out our One-on-One Appointment Form and a librarian will contact you to schedule a time to meet at the Main Library.

DIY sessions are available on a first come first served basis and you must show proof of having attended the orientation. Please check-in with staff at Newspapers and Magazines desk with a library card and certificate.
