Lost and Paid Reports
Lost and Paid reports are run monthly and contain a list of items that have been lost AND paid for by the patron. These funds can be used to re-purchase the title or to buy a comparable title.
Check the reports for any lost items in your buying areas. If you have titles listed in your area, use circ stats and see if there are other titles on that topic on the shelf to help you determine if you want to re-purchase the title/find a comparable title on the same topic.
If you decide to use the Lost and Paid fund to re-purchase the title or buy a comp title, create a cart in B&T using this format "Lost and Paid ML 300 JM May" and use the Lost and Paid fund code. If you need help with this, see your manager.
